How to Enroll in the Newman Bible Academy

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

In this section, I will explain steps on how to enroll, and how the system works. By clicking through the other sections, you will gain information on the doctrinal statement, history, courses offered, enrollment and registration forms, endorsements, and other useful information.

1. Diploma Program. The major program is a diploma for 60 credits of Bible study all taken from the Academy. The contents are a mix of Bible, theology and practical ministry studies. There are a total of 20 three credit courses required to complete the program. All programs are online. An exception would be an occasional introductory seminar held from time to time in various parts of the world.

FREE Certificate program. This program involves successfully completing the course, TH 101 Christian Foundations. This course also counts as the first three credit course toward the 20 course diploma program. This basic course is well suited for your evangelism and discipleship ministry. It is advised that you personally complete the course before you use it with others in one-on-one ministry, group evangelism, or teaching in lecture format. This course is FREE of charge to you. However, you must enroll for the course.

2. Enrollment. To enroll in the Academy, just click on the enrollment form below. Fill out the form, and submit it through this website. I will give you a student number so we can keep track of you here at the Academy. Your transcript will also be started. There are no enrollment fees. Be sure to type your name as you want it on your certificate or diploma. You need to enroll in the Academy only once.

3. Registration. After you have enrolled in the Academy, you will need to register for the individual courses. Just click on the registration form below. Follow the instructions to fill out the form, and submit it through this website. You can find the individual courses at the link, Courses of Study. You need to register for each course you take. You may take any course as there are no prerequisites. However, I strongly urge you to take the TH 101 Christian Foundations first.

4. Payment. Your payment is through PayPal. The cost for each course is $30 USD. When you register for a course, you must make the payment through the “participate & donate” button (link) on any webpage on this website. Where it says “purpose,” put the number and name of the course you are taking. You will need a credit card. If you do not have a credit card, you can use a friend or family member’s card, and pay them the cash.

The exception is the FREE Christian Foundations course. For that, you follow instructions given (by clicking) HERE. Submit your exam answers by email and when you pass the it, we will email you a certificate of completion.

5. As soon as I receive your payment, for the other courses in the program, I will email you by attachment the text ebook, and exams. You complete the exams and any other assignments, and email them back to me at drwillisnewman@gmail.com. I will grade your work, send you the results, and record your grade in your transcript. As soon as you finish up a course, then register for the next course.

6. Diploma/certificate. As soon as you finish the certificate program, I will send you a certificate of completion. As soon as you finish all 20 courses, then I will send you a diploma. All this will be by email. When you run off your diploma on your printer, I suggest that you use an attractive, heavy, suitable paper to display your certificate or diploma beautifully.

The diploma gives you recognition that you have completed solid training in Bible, theology, and ministry, Christian living.

7. Much of the material will be in pdf files. Consequently, you will need to download and Adobe Reader. They are free at http://get.adobe.com/reader/

8. You can take the courses in any sequence. There are no prerequisites for any course. However, I strongly urge you to first take the course TH 101 Christian Foundations.

After submitting your Registration Form, you can click on the botton below to pay for your tuition, which include your ebooks, and exam, which will be emailed to you after we receive confirmation of your payment. Please DO NOT buy the ebooks, your $30 course fee includes the ebook and exam. On the PAYPAL page, don't forget to indicate how many courses you are "buying."
