History of the Newman Bible Academy

Esmie and I have many years experience in Christian ministry, and we want to pass on to you what we have learned. Over my 20 plus year career in education, (not counting the pastorate, counseling, and missions), I have written more than two dozen manuals and lecture notes that I have used in teaching seminary and Bible school courses.

Presently, I teach at Faith Evangelical Seminary. I have lectured at California Graduate School of Theology, International College and Graduate School of Theology (Hawaii), and colleges in the Philippines. While serving as a missionary in the Kingdom of Tonga, the Lord enabled me to start a teaching site for Faith Seminary in 1991. I served as South Pacific director for Faith Seminary through 1998, and taught a number of courses. I also teach a variety of psychology, counseling, sociology, and communications courses at a local community college in America.

For several years now, Esmie, along with other friends, encouraged me to upload my books and manuals onto the internet. We started the project in 1998 by uploading free Bible studies into this website. And in the process, we decided to start a two year Bible academy – all online, and directed to the servants of Christ in the third world – and or where a Bible education is limited or non-existent. (But, we welcome anyone who is seriously interested in a Bible education). That is why the courses are so inexpensive – yet of top quality. The level of the program is at the first two years of a Bible college.
